It is worthy of note that not all courses offered at the Secondary Education level are compulsory to gain admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions. While for some that are compulsory, it is not mandated for students to have a credit pass in the subjects before they can process or successfully gain admission to study a course in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

In this article, I have successfully put together a list of courses art students can study without Government and Economics which are both considered compulsory subjects in Secondary Schools.

It cannot be over-emphasized how important and compulsory Economics has been made compulsory in secondary education level for students especially students in the Art class. Many of the students have been asking if there is a course they could study in the Nigerian tertiary institution without a credit in the subject.

The goods news is that it is not all art courses that require Economics. Below is a list of our well researched courses you can study without Economics and schools you can apply:

Art courses you can study without Government

Government is also a key subject to students in Art class. it has been made compulsory in the secondary school level. However, students seeking to further their educational pursuit have been asking if they can gain admission into a tertiary institution in Nigeria without a good grade in the subject. Others have also been asking if there was a course they can study in tertiary institutions in Nigeria that won’t have government as one of its requirements.

 Many have given up on their admission pursuits in past admission years because they failed in subject; government, and therefore did not meet up with basic requirements,  

The goods news is that it is not all art courses that require Government nor a credit pass in Government before you can successfully apply or gain admission into Nigerian tertiary institution.

Schools you can apply

You can apply to this courses Most of the Federal Universities , State Universities, Private Universities,  Federal Polytechnics , State Polytechnics, Private Polytechnics, Federal Monotechnics, State Monotechnics, Private Monotechnics and college of Educations in the country.

However it is important to note that while some of these institutions will accept admission without these subjects without any stated conditions, some of them will accept with conditions such as, aspirant must have at least a pass in the subject or aspirants should a pass, or credit pass in another subject in lieu of the subject being discussed i.e (Government and Economics).
